Day 15—The Humans

I have discovered to my surprise that there are humans here in Orizonia, and they appear remarkably similar to those from my homeland. Most of them look completely ordinary—save for a few I have glimpsed sporting tails. Despite this unusual trait, they are as capable and industrious as any I have met. Many seem drawn to artisanship: metalworking, goldsmithing, wine making, brewing, and woodcraft are all skills at which they excel. There are murmurs that they play a key role in the transportation system within the capital, though I cannot yet fathom precisely how.

Though humans here are physically strong—some displaying feats of endurance well beyond what I am used to—their most striking feature, to me, is their language. They speak as I do, effortlessly bridging the linguistic barriers that so often hinder my understanding of Orizonia’s other races. From what I have gathered, humans are well respected and integrated across various domains, without possessing a clear, centralized society of their own. They seem scattered, serving in diverse roles and living among the Ethereans, Felarians, and even more mysterious races yet unknown to me. There is so much more I wish to learn, but already I feel a certain sense of relief that I am not entirely alone here.
